How this service works
A free guide plus a phone number. The number routes through a call-tracking line to an independent local restoration company, and we may be paid when a call qualifies. It costs you nothing.
Salt Lake Water Damage Advice is a free referral and information service, not a contractor. Calls are answered by independent local restoration companies through a pay-per-call network, and we may be paid when a call qualifies. We do not do the work and do not set prices or availability.
Who picks up
You reach an independent Salt Lake-area restoration company. We only connect the call.
Call the number
Free. The line is a call-tracking number.
It is routed
To an independent restoration company that serves your neighborhood and is taking calls right then.
They assess it with you
On the phone first, then a visit and a written estimate if you ask for one.
Your decision
No obligation. You can decline, compare, or call someone else.
What we are, and are not
- A referral and information service, not a restoration company, contractor, plumber, insurer or insurance adviser.
- We do no work and employ none of the companies that answer.
- Not affiliated with Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, any utility or any insurer.
- We hold no contractor license and publish no reviews, ratings or badges.
How we are paid
The site and the call are free to you. The restoration company, or a call network, may pay us when a call qualifies. Prices are set by the company that answers.
What we cannot promise
- Who answers, or when, or how soon they can be there.
- A particular license or price. Ask for their Utah contractor license number and verify it with DOPL.
- That your insurer will pay. Your policy decides.
Calls may be recorded
The network or the company may record or log calls. Ask at the start if that matters to you.
